Sedimentary - layers of compressed sand, mud, decaying material. Igneous rock - solidified magma.

Yes, you need to know the rock cycle for the test.

sorry if i still vote for three animals, but i really don't know how many we're supposed to vote for. Last time I voted there was a footnote somewhere about only voting for one animal... and that was AFTER i had already voted.

'Kay... so this time, if it IS supposed to be only one animal (because it says on the survey i need three) than please only take my vote for the Black-Footed Ferret.

P.S. The other reason (besides Ms. Schmidt/Hagstrom egging us on) for my voting for this particular animal is because I did a report on them when I was in elementary school, and I learned that they were being, instead of flushed out, BURNED out of their homes and prairie burrows. Think of the U. S. being torched, and all of us having to flee or die.

For the rock cycle, will we have to draw that diagram out for the test?

Hey,

I was wondering what are sedimentary and igneous rocks made out of. Also, is the intensity how much damage occurs after an earthquake?

Sheava, an epicenter is where the... well, I guess if you took a pebble and dropped it in a lake, there'd be a bunch of ripples. the very CENTER ripple, probably looking like a little circle, would be the epicenter. So, an epicenter of an earthquake would be where the FOCUS (hint: that's the next thing Ms. Schmidt/Hagstrom said to study) of the magnitude, intensity, etc. appeared. It probably going to be right next to (or in some cases right on top) a fault.
